When I was in high School I attended two different schools, one called ISA (international studies academy) and the other one is youth chance high school. I decided to share my experience about Isa for some strange reason I grew to love that school even though I was barely there. Isa was a really diverse school there was people from all different types of back grounds and everybody got along really well. The atmosphere was really laid back the hallways was quiet during class and loud during break. The school itself was clean, well-kept and up to date. It wasn’t one of those schools with a whole bunch of scribble scrabble writing on the walls. We had a small lunchroom with a big yard. The teachers were very nice and seemed to always care about our education. When I started doing bad in school there was always a teacher there that seemed to care enough to reach out to me, where as some schools had teacher who could careless whether you was there or not. The students there seemed to be very well rounded, friendly, and eager to learn. I never really took the time out to befriend anyone because I always had my own circle of friends outside of school.
Wow I wish I went to your school. I really like how you went into detail about how the school was good and it had quality. I can relate with you about how your teaches were always caring, and they always went out of their way to make sure you received a good education.
ReplyDeleteHI Demeya just wanted to say i feel your writing was right on point and i can relate being in a diverse school. My high school was kind of the same we had about 3000 kids all from different walks of life. Being that the school was so big i never really related or try to relate to any of my teachers or staff. Wish i would have.I think that a little support goes a long way and i think if i had that i probably would have graduated on time. My high school was not all bad i just did not make the most out of the opportunity. I To stuck with my in circle of friends out side of school and even tho I related to them I should have been more focused on my education and that was my downfall to high school
ReplyDeleteLike you I attended to more than one high school and there's always been one teacher that cares about the students education, so it seems like you had good support and really enjoyed ISA as one of your high schools.
